The rooms at Hotel Royal are absolutely stunning! I felt like I was transported back to the belle époque era with all the elegant decor. The private terrace offered breathtaking views of the park, lake, and mountains. The marble bathrooms were a nice touch with fancy hotel-branded products and fluffy robes and slippers. It truly made me feel pampered and special during my stay.

Personally, I found the all-marble bathrooms to be a bit excessive. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Toilet exhaust fan not strong enough. Strange attitude (bordering on rudeness) from wairess when we ordered tea at breakfast.

Our 3rd stay at Royal and once again, we were impressed! The hotel boasts stunning views and a beautiful setting. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. We took advantage of the pool area, enjoying a dip before check-in and after check-out. The recent renovation has elevated the hotel to an exceptional standard, without losing its old world character. The lobby, restaurants, rooms, spa facilities, and gardens were impeccable. A free shuttle service ensured easy access to the city center.

Excellent Location as expected for a 5 star hotel, impressive building and setting with views north over Lake Geneva

With such a location and building it is a shame it is totally let down by poor management or lack of visible management and therefore poor inaffective staff, we will not be returning and warn others expecting a special hotel, whilst the hotel building/location give it 5 stars we would give the staff less than 2!

Location short walk to a more casual restaurant overlooking the gardens providing an excellent start of the day and conference. Brand-new room and the staff were professional.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Royal for a relaxing weekend getaway. The service was impeccable, with courteous staff always willing to help. The hotel grounds and gardens were beautifully manicured, providing stunning views. The mix of old world glamour and contemporary chic created a unique and charming atmosphere. The food was incredible, and the spa and pools were a must-visit during my stay. I can't wait to visit again!

This is a very beautiful hotel with a great view on the lake.

There was too much noise around the hotel during the day, from lawn mowers, etc., This is not what you like and expect from a hotel in the hills. Children can stay free in this hotel, and there are many families with many children. Therefore the hotel is hardly suitable for adult couples who wish to spend a romantic weekend.In fact, adult couples pay relatively much to compensate for the free stay of all these children. I would recommend this hotel only for families with children.

The views of Lake Geneva were straight fire, like everywhere we went - from the dope rooms, to the chill restaurants, and even the luxurious spa and sick golf course. The Casino was a vibe, and the 24-hour front desk was clutch for all our late-night shenanigans. We also appreciated the facilities for disabled guests and the available Wi-Fi for all our Insta-worthy moments. The Sport & Culture department and high-end clothing boutique added extra swag to our stay.

The only thing we were missing was more party fun specifically for us, young and wild teens. Like, we were looking for some sick parties and lit events to turn up the energy even more.

Staff do not speak english, problems with accepting credit cards. Staff make too many mistakes and treat you like you owe them!!!!! Not the attitute of 5 star hotel at all.

We loved the stunning views and the beautiful hotel grounds. The location on the hillside provided easy access to downtown via the funicular. The staff was fantastic and the breakfast was excellent.

Staff is excellent. They really try their best to ensure perfect service which we have been very happy with. The kids club is wonderful. We were able to enjoy some relaxed time with my spouse while our kids enjoyed the kids club - the whole day.

Obviously everything is quite expensive so you must be in a splurging mood. But you get your money's worth in quality and service. Also while we were able to book a standard room on Booked.net for 2 adults and 2 kids, the hotel called us the next day to tell us that we have to either pay to upgrade to a Junior Suite or book two rooms. We did the upgrade and it costs us more than planned. To be fair we could have cancelled as well, but we did not want to change our plans. The junior suite was excellent.

The rooms at this 5-star luxury hotel are decorated to the highest standards. I felt like I was in an utterly magnificent room with stacks of belle époque flounce. The interior design fuses modern panache with vintage romance, creating a truly unique and luxurious ambiance.

Staff responsiveness.

Stunning views and beautiful surroundings. The infinity pool was amazing and the spa was relaxing. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious.

Some of the service was a bit slow and there were some issues with the air conditioning. The gym was not accessible early enough for those on a business trip.
